| The 22nd Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition SIFE marked the beginning of a massive transition taking place in the China furniture industry. The China domestic furniture market really showed off its power at the 22nd SIFE. Taking place in the fastest moving and fastest growing city in China, you could feel the strong presence of domestic visitors along with a powerful floor dedicated to both domestic and international buyers. |

| Some of the major changes taking place at SIFE this March were the addition of the Southeast Asian Domain featuring large exhibiting groups from Indonesia and Malaysia. They are the first foreign exhibitors to begin taking advantage of the strong China domestic market by reaching the biggest Chinese buyers and wholesalers at SIFE. The city of Shenzhen in the south of China is representing the strongest base to begin approaching the vast new markets in mainland China for furniture. At the same time SIFE continues to be a strong platform for exhibitors to reach international buyers. |

In response to such large industry news and changes in the last year, the Shenzhen Furniture Trade Association SZFA has strengthened its position further as the number one furniture association in China by upgrading several of its key 10 projects including SIFE. SZFA Secretary General, Oliver Hou, is now aggressively taking position as China’s top furniture industry leader as he now opens the SZFA 10 projects to foreign co-operation. Of the ten projects, the Shenzhen International Furniture Exhibition SIFE is the most recognized as Oliver Hou recently completed deals with the Southeast Asian countries in participating in the March 2009 SIFE along with completing a new deal with the famous German supply and component show, ZOW, to also begin co-operating starting in March 2009. |

| Coming to you next year, in March 2009, SIFE will be officially launching a completed Southeast Asian Domain, which will include exhibitors from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam. This will lead the path for exhibitors from Europe, UK and USA to also come and exhibit as well in March 2009. As a result the official International Block will be launched next March which will represent all foreign exhibitors coming to SIFE and will likely be inside halls 8 and 9. |

| Next year SIFE will welcome its co-operation with Europe’s top furniture component and supply show, ZOW. Leaders from ZOW are recognizing the strong venue of SIFE and also believe that both parties share the same values of promoting mid to high end products at their shows. So as the ZOW and SIFE co-operation begins next March, ZOW will take over hall 4 at SIFE. As a result, the ZOW partner will naturally take over SIFE’s Furnishings and Accessories Zone FAZ, to establish its own concept under the same roof of SIFE. |
